Day 51: On a Date With Boys

I was greeted by this bright and early this morning:

Seriously, wouldn't a bed make for a more comfortable nights sleep?

We did have a pretty good day today...Gracie went to a baby shower themed birthday party for the daughter of one of my girlfriends. She had an awesome good time and left with a smile on her face and a bounce in her step.

Once we arrived home however, Gracie and I walked into tension so thick it was hanging in the air between hubby and the boys. (Eli specifically) Long story short, I decided to take the 3 older boys on a 'date' with just me.

First, we went to Red Robin for lunch which made Eli *very* happy

(Yes, I was as tired as I look!)

Caleb said something funny today...he was waiting for his turn to bowl and he said " I'll bet that the people that play baseball don't like bowling because in baseball, a strike is bad, but in bowling it's good!" Okay, it cracked me up at least. Guess you had to be there.
